Privacy Policy

This policy is a working draft. It describes accurately what the system does today, but it has not been reviewed by a legal adviser and does not yet name the operating entity or a data-retention period.

What we collect

When you apply to a NISE programme we ask you for:

• Identity and contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Application content — your background, the programme you are applying to, and the answers you write on the form.
• Documents you upload — a CV or portfolio file, if you choose to attach one.
• Entrance test answers, if you are shortlisted and sit the assessment.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.

What we do with it

We use this information to assess your application, place you in the right cohort, run the entrance test, and contact you about the outcome. We email you at the addresses you give us about your application status — nothing else.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Your data is held in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database and Supabase Storage. Access is restricted by row-level security: applicants can read only their own records, and staff access is limited by role. Transactional email is sent through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel.

Who can see your application

NISE staff involved in admissions, and instructors assigned to your cohort once you enrol. Reviewer notes and assessment scores are internal.

Your choices

• Withdraw your application at any time from your status page.
• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Cookies

We set a session cookie so you stay signed in. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.
