Terms of Service

These terms are a working draft. They describe how admission actually works today, but they have not been reviewed by a legal adviser, do not name the operating entity, and do not set out fees, refunds or a governing jurisdiction. Those must be added before any money changes hands.

Who we are

NISE — the Narratives Institute of Skill & Employment — runs cohort-based programmes in professional skills. This site is where you apply to them.

Applying

• Admission is by application and entrance test. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place.
• Seats in a cohort are limited and applications close on a published date.
• We may shortlist, invite you to an entrance test, make an offer, hold you on a waitlist, or decline. We tell you which.
• The information you give us must be accurate. We may withdraw an offer if it turns out not to be.

Your account

You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for anything done through it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Fees

Fees are set per intake and published on the programme page for that intake. Where a fee has not been announced, none has been set — an unannounced fee is never zero.

Refund and payment terms are not yet defined and must be added here before fees are collected.

Programme material

Lessons, assessments and materials are for enrolled students' own use. Please do not redistribute or republish them.

Work you produce during the programme is yours. We may ask separately, and in writing, if we would like to show it.

What we do not promise

We teach the syllabus published on the programme page and assess your work against it. We do not guarantee employment, income, or any particular outcome. Any figure quoted anywhere on this site is descriptive of the programme, not a promise about your results.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes affecting a live intake will be communicated to applicants and students in that intake.
